Commissioned by the initiative of Beweegvriendelijke wijk, Studio JAAF looked into how the Willem van Abcoudepleinbuurt in Utrecht can better respond to physical, social and/or cognitive exercise, especially for the elderly.

On site local residents and visitors were asked about their wishes, ideas and opportunities for the Willem van Abcoudeplein neighbourhood using insight maps and place valuation maps. The results from the online co creation (due to Covid-19) in combination with all information gathered by the location visit resulted in various spatial opportunities for the Willem van Abcoudeplein neighbourhood.
